How a high school in Milwaukee advocated for Dick Allen’s Hall of Fame election Golda Meir High School' Sports Analytics Club made a Dick Allen performance portfolio. The parent organization sent it to the Hall of Fame committee and believes it could have contributed to his case.

And this real world application work was powered by the Sports Analytics Club founded by SERP Board Member Robert Clayton.

Bill Kashatus landed the final interview with Dick Allen before he died. His childhood hero then asked for a favor. Kashatus drove to Wampum to say goodbye in November of 2020 when it became clear that cancer was taking over. Allen told Kashatus to ask him the questions he always wanted to ask.

Dick Allen’s induction into the Hall of Fame is a victory for his greatest advocate and friend Mark “Frog” Carfagno battled long and hard for Allen to be honored in Cooperstown. The former grounds crew member forged a friendship with the slugger in the 1970s.
