Yes, I know about that shoe. That one, too. No, 4E isn’t wide enough. I’ve tried them all and have paid the #disabilitytax to do so. Yeah, that wide toe box? Not wide enough. That Velcro strap? Not long enough. No stretch? Forget about it. The sole isn’t flat? 🙃 Need to accommodate swelling? FU.

Greed. And RealPage needs to be nationally banned for use by landlords, devs & prop mgrs. Open rents shouldn't fluctuate daily or be avg'd against entire nation, only regionally. Sick of this crap! It's also a disadvantage for the disabled as we can't usually opt for older buildings. #DisabilityTax

Essentially, #DisabilityTax. Our lives are so much more expensive than our healthy counterparts. #Pricegouging exists for the disabled every day and no one bats an eye but if it happened to #ableists, there'd be an uproar bigger than ours.

I was born disabled. I have no insurance & pay everything out of pocket, no benefits, I w@h.
I'm on 5 meds, 4 supplements. Because of one disorder, I can't use generics either. 🤬😡 I already pay a lot more as a 👩🏻‍🦼 person for my wellbeing (dubbed #disabilitytax) - I can't take much more.

#DisabilityTax: Where products for the disabled are 2 to 5 ✖️ more💲 than they should be or to their #ableist counterparts.
Ableists, don't believe me? Search Amazon. Products for a stroller are cheap. Their replica for a wheelchair is jacked up.

I call it #DisabilityTax (like #pinktax but for disabled). We are price gouged at every step. I also don't have insurance so everything is out of pocket. 😤
Contact the con, often times they have machines on standby for its attendees. You can also usually rent one from a rental shop.

I’m about to get an Uber because very close to where I live powerlines are down… I also had an exceptionally long day yesterday. Mixture of being up early getting VERY cold and WET triggered #Dysautonomia meaning by the time it was sleepy time my body was like ADRENALINE!

A3. Volunteering key but it is also a privilege.
Goes & Companies should invest in volunteering hours for their employees-both for internal/external work. No one can expect colleagues/PwD to do extra unpaid work: #disabilityTax.
Also: expertise must be paid, specially lived experience
