Effective service decomposition requires clear boundaries. Poorly defined boundaries create tightly coupled services, reducing independence. Boundaries should reflect stable business domains, not technical convenience.

If AI allows us to manage multiple agents working in parallel, then architecture becomes even more important.

A tightly coupled architecture will block parallel development. A loosely coupled, modular architecture will facilitate it.
