Currently Australia is being hit with a massive heat wave. Specifically southern Australian states. In rural New South Wales, and Victoria. This heat wave is causing large environmentally damaging bush fires scattered around. These kinds of bush fires happen every year here, but in 2019 we were hit the hardest.

These kinds of fires destroy and several damage the native wildlife and bush land, and takes a very long time to heal. They have burned the homes of humans and animals, causing a lot of Australians to have to change their lives. However, it would have been much worse if it weren’t for the fire fighting volunteers risking their lives to tame the fires and save any wildlife they could.

So I’m going to use my platform to direct any of you who are financially available to the official websites to donate to the Victorian and NSW fire brigades. Any amount will be very helpful in funding the resources needed to support the fire fighters. If you can’t donate sharing this or posting something similar for others who could donate will help spread the word, and not feel completely helpless in this situation. Below I’ve put links to the Victorian CFA donation portal, and the NSW Rural Fire Service donation page. You can also directly contact your local fire brigade if you live in a high risk area wish to donate to them.
