Out of curiosity:

what might be the reason to cancel one flight and operate another, yet heavily delayed flight, with a similar flight number?

Feels like I literally got the last seat on fully booked #LX780 from #ZRH to #BRU.

Аfter yesterday’s cancellation it took Austrian 9 hours to reinstate the changed booking.

Quite ironic that a flight to the birthplace of EU passenger rights entitles me to a compensation of 250€. #EC261
