Onlooker shares photo of concerning discovery in US national park: 'This is mind-blowing' A visitor to Yosemite Natural Park shared a photo of tall, stalk-like Mullein plants shooting up from the ground at a campsite, calling them a monstrosity.

An invasive mullein weed spotted in #Yosemite is a reminder of how quickly #invasiveplants can colonize disturbed sites, outcompeting natives & altering ecosystem function.

Kudzu, Pueraria montana var. lobata, is also known as the weed that ate the south. The few times it has been found in Washington it has luckily been found and eradicated. Help us keep Washington kudzu free by keeping an eye out and reporting if you see it!
