😱 It is alarming that a body as authoritative as the #ESABCC lends its weight to recommendations that risk legitimizing dangerous technologies like carbon capture and geoengineering, distracting EU policymakers from what's really needed: #PhaseOutFossilFuels fast, fair, forever.

We 🇪🇺 Climate Advisors #ESABCC recommend to urgently phase out fossil fuel subsidies, which shamefully have doubled in the last few years. Use that money to pay for conservation and renewables. Avoid over investing in LNG infrastructure. 3/
