Adaptation should not be used as an excuse not to mitigate or 'give up' but Europe and the Arctic will heat faster than the global average, even if some countries work towards the Paris Agreement target. It is reasonable for #EU27 to prepare for 2-3°C of heating 2050- with nonlinear loss and damage.
