reminded me of the Easter 1997 deployed to Bosnia w/NATO IFOR (Implementation Force after they signed #DaytonPeaceAccords) when i took a couple of my bomb dog teams to Sarajevo to assist w/ security for #PopeJohnPaulII who wanted to say #EasterMass in the newly restored Olympic Stadium.

How sad, #PopeFrancis has died on Easter Monday aged 88. When I watched the #EasterMass on German TV yesterday morning I´ve been praying that it wouldn´t be his last #Easter, God wanted to take him home, #RIPPopeFrancis.
