‘Indeed, a number of the early cartoons focused wryly on the fate of previously well-to-do investors, now fallen on hard times. The drawing below by Ed Graham appeared on December 6, 1929. As the Depression worsened, vast numbers of unemployed men would adopt the expedient of hopping freight trains in search of work. Relatively few, admittedly, were former shareholders.’

‘Ed Graham began his career as a professional cartoonist in the 1920s when he moved from his home state of Indiana to New York City. There he enjoyed some admirable successes: Graham's work soon began appearing on covers and interiors of many major magazines including Life, Ballyhoo, College Humor, Collier's and Judge.’

My Sunday Song – “I Believe In A Thing Called Love” by The Darkness For My Sunday Song #432, we are going for pure fun and a love for 80's rock with "I Believe In A Thing Called Love" by the band The Darkness. The song was the third single off this 2003 debut album 'Permission to Land'. The song went to #1 in their home country of the UK, but in the states it didn't fair as well.
