A square photographic artistic meme "Sounds Great" © 2026 by Jack Ohman as follows:

The meme is broken up into four separate alternating blue and pink horizontally rectangular panels.

From left to right:

Panel 1 (blue): A caricature of a fat Donald Trump in standard blue suit, white shirt, orange face, too long red tie and tiny hands, is talking to a caricature of an ayatollah in black robe and wearing eye-glasses. Trump says into his white voice bubble:
"...I DEMAND YOUR UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER!"

Panel 2 (pink): The ayatollah speaks:
"WHY? WE'RE AN AUTHORITARIAN DICTATORSHIP THAT OPPRESSES WOMEN, RUN BY NUTS & RIGID TRUE BELIEVERS, AND WE HAVE A BIG SECRET POLICE FORCE."

Panel 3 (blue): Trump and the ayatollah pause... nothing is said by either. They just stare into space for a moment...

Panel 4 (pink): Trump and the ayatollah have been shrinking in each panel from left to right and in the right and last panel they are very small indeed. Trump puts his arm around the ayatollah and says:
"...SOUNDS GREAT!"

A square photographic artistic meme "The Cost of Groceries for One Week" © 2026 by Matt Davies as follows:

On a white background the viewer can see the caricature of an older lady with grey hair wearing green overcoat and dress, with brown boots on her feet and brown purse over her left shoulder, standing in a self-checkout lane looking at her receipt with bulging eyes and more than a little distain.

She has approximately one week's worth of groceries in her shopping basket and the total shown on the computer screen for the register "GROCERIES TOTAL" is $350.

Standing behind her wearing standard blue suit, white shirt and too long red tie, and with very small hands, is a caricature of a very fat, very ugly, very orange Donald Trump, who says to her "DON'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU READ".

A square meme entitled "Renee Nicole Good" © 2026 by Adam Zyglis, Pulitzer Prize Winner 2015 for Editorial Cartooning, depicts the following:

The meme is divided into three sections, left, middle and right: "The GOOD, The BAD, The UGLY".

In the left section, "The GOOD", the viewer is presented with a caricature of Renee Nicole Good taken from a public photo published recently, a defenseless woman, an American citizen, who was shot dead in Minneapolis on 7 January 2026 by an ICE agent for no good reason other than he felt like it.

In the middle section, "The BAD", the viewer is presented with a caricature of an ICE agent in full battle armor and mask, with a skull for a head, holding a smoking gun.

In the right section, "The UGLY", the viewer is presented with two caricatures, one of a very ugly Donald Trump on the left and a very ugly HHS secretary Dog Killer Noem on the right. Both have tree trunks for noses due to the size of the lies they keep telling.

Trump is wearing standard blue suit, white shirt and red tie, and his tree trunk nose has branches. His voice bubble says this:
"SHE'S A DOMESTIC TERRORIST" (a false reference to Renee Nicole Good)

Dog Killer Noem is wearing a cowboy hat and a green shirt that is marked "HHS". Her nose is longer than Trump's nose. Her fat lips are speaking into her voice bubble thus:
"SHE TRIED TO KILL HIM" (a false reference to Renee Nicole Good)

Square meme "ICE Shooting" © 2026 by Pat Bagley, Pulitzer Prize Finalist 2014 for #Editorial_Cartooning, as follows:

This is a recognition of ICE raids in general but mostly the current events in Minneapolis wherein a citizen woman has been shot dead by an ICE agent for no real good reason except that the agent felt like it.

There will most likely be no accountability because the FBI is hiding and suppressing everything they can regarding the "investigation" into this shooting.

Mostly black and white, the image shows a large black SUV marked "I.C.E." on the side, and also with images of people, children and pets marked on the side, denoting their "kills" (as in the markings on WWII airplanes reflecting the number of "kills" by this pilot).

All of the "agents" are pointing weapons at the viewer.

Front and center in the front left window of the SUV is a caricature of Dog-Killer Noem with "ICE" marked on her bullet-proof vest, sporting her own high-powered rifle. She is surrounded by other agents, each with their own high-powered rifle, all primed and ready to kill anyone who gets in their way.

A square meme entitled "Maduro Overthrown" © 2026 by Adam Zyglis, Pulitzer Prize Winner 2015 for Editorial Cartooning, depicts the following:

The scene shows the right upper half of a man, mostly his right arm, face not visible, but enough of the body to know this is "Uncle Sam" in white shirt, red tie, blue jacket and red-and-white-striped pants.

The right fist is clenched tightly, and a tourniquet has been tied around the upper arm and is being held in place by the left hand.

Stuck in a vein of the right arm is a very large old-fashioned needle attached to and coming out of a miniature oil drum marked "VENEZUELAN OIL" with a three-finger plunger on the opposite side.

The caption box in the upper left-hand side of the meme reads:

"IT'S about THE DRUGS..."

Editorial cartoon "Worst Parade Ever" © 2025 by Walt Handelsman, Pulitzer Prize Winner 1997 & 2007 for Editorial Cartooning, depicting the following:

A crowd of people are watching a "parade" of identical agents dressed in green and marked "ICE" on their backs with full armor and masks who are filling the street from side to side in two rows while walking in front of vans marked ICE, also filling the street from side to side.

In front of and behind these ICE agents and vans the viewer is presented with the same arrangement of agents and vans only this time they are marked as "Border Patrol" and these agents are wearing black uniforms.

Basically, the entire image is completely filled with men marching down a street between vans, both ICE and Border Patrol agents, with the exception of a slice of the image on the top reserved for onlookers and a big black flag marked with white letters: "NEW ORLEANS".

One of the onlookers speaks into a voice bubble: "WORST PARADE EVER..."

Seattle Times cartoonist

The Trump administration is staffed with buffoons, extremists and extremist buffoons, from macho clown Pete Hegseth attempting to turn the military into a Visigoth horde, to the Prince of Darkness, Stephen Miller, overseeing the lawless crackdown on immigration.

Until lately, though, one of the most consequential actors in the Trump White House has flown under the radar, Director of the Office of Management and Budget Russell Vought.

Vought is one of the authors of Project 2025, the ultra-conservative manifesto that laid out a program to dismantle the federal government and restore traditional morality. During the 2024 presidential campaign, Donald Trump claimed to know nothing about Project 2025.

Now, the president is openly embracing the scheme and making it the blueprint for his aggressive attack on government agencies and programs.

Vought is the prime executor of the plan. A man who Utah Sen. Mike Lee characterized as longing to deconstruct government “since puberty,” Vought is seizing the opportunity of the government shutdown to further slash federal jobs. He is a man on a mission and that mission is to take the United States back 100 years or more to a time when the federal government was much smaller.

In that pre-New Deal era, destitute older citizens, farmers facing drought, African Americans denied their voting rights, exploited workers and victims of natural disasters were all left to deal with their problems and tragedies with no aid from their government. Polluters were free to pollute. Financiers were free to manipulate stocks. The economy was an unmanaged game of craps that was prone to financial panics.

Most Americans would never want to return to that era, but, thanks to Russ Vought, we are on a journey back in time whether we like it or not.

Editorial cartoon "SHITTING ON AMERICA" © 2025 by Nick Anderson, Pulitzer Prize Winner 2005 for Editorial Cartooning, depicting the following:

BACKGROUND: Donald Trump recently posted an AI video of himself as his reaction to the 2nd "NO KINGS DAY" protests that occurred nationwide on 18 October last. The video shows him wearing a gold crown while flying in some kind of jet and dropping shit on the protestors below. Trump and his thoroughly corrupt administration probably thought this was hilarious.

Nick Anderson has taken this to a new level by posting his reaction:

A square meme with caricatures of blue sky above, six relatively unhappy eagles sitting on white Doric columns at the bottom with Trump in his jet wearing his gold crown and swooping over them all while dumping shit on them. Each eagle has a name as follows, from left to right:

"POLITICAL NORMS"
"DECENCY"
"DEMOCRACY"
"JUSTICE"
"TRADITIONS"
"EQUAL PROTECTION"

Editorial cartoon "Washington Monuments" © 2025 by Jack Ohman, Pulitzer Prize Winner 2016 for Editorial Cartooning, depicting the following caricatures:

One large square meme is subdivided into four equal-sized sections.

The picture is basically the same in each section but with one major difference being the monument being shown, one Washington monument per section with green grass and cloudy blue skies and a caption in white letters in a black box at the top of each section.

Starting on the left we see the towering white Washington monument, captioned "WASHINGTON", standing tall at 550 feet.

Next section to the right shows the white Jefferson Memorial and part of the Potomac river, captioned "JEFFERSON".

Next to this is the white Lincoln Memorial, captioned "LINCOLN".

Final section on the right-hand side, captioned "TRUMP", shows a pile of rubble with a shabby American flag on a broken flagpole and a machine arm demolishing the White House.

Square editorial cartoon © 2025 by Pulitzer Prize Finalist Pat Bagley depicting two equal-sized panels side-by-side.

captioned: "HOW IT STARTED"
In the left panel we have a Jan6 Trump supporter in full black riot gear, helmet, goggles and mask, attacking a Capital policeman with a truncheon (from behind) as a "TRUMP" flag waves in the background.
The Capital PD officer is not too happy about this and has a "scream" (terrified) expression on his face with eyes and mouth wide open.

captioned: "HOW IT'S GOING"
The right panel is basically exactly the same as the left panel except that the attacker is now labeled "ICE" and the attackee is now a green statue of liberty figure with the same terror expression on her face and the crowd in the background are all ICE agents (former Jan6 attackers).

Editorial cartoon "PUPPY-KILLER KRISTI NOEM ARRESTS SANDWICH THROWER" © 2025 by Nick Anderson, Pulitzer Prize Winner for Editorial Cartooning as follows:

On a square completely white background meme we find caricatures of Trump sycophants wearing Nazi-style uniforms with "T" labels and pendants (presumably stands for "Trump" but really stands for "Terrorist") standing, frowning and looking at an audience on the other side of a microphone on a pole in front of them.

Front and center speaking into the microphone we have Puppy-Killer Kristi Noem holding with her left hand the arm of some guy with bulging red eyes wearing shorts and pink t-shirt. Her right hand is not visible.

Noem is the incompetent head of "Homeland Security" aka "Reichssicherheitshauptamt" (the "Nazi Homeland Security" unit).

Noem is wearing a Waffen SS-style grey uniform with short puffy pants, black tie and big-buckle belt with high-top black boots, complete with funky hat marked "T". She also has "T" pendant on her left jacket pocket.

She is surrounded by three men, all wearing Waffen-SS style clothing like Noem, one with a large buttoned-down overcoat. Each man standing next to Noem has "T" pendant at his throat and on each hat and is wearing dark glasses.

Noem is speaking into two voice bubbles:

"We are charging the man who threw a sandwich at us with a felony."

"That'll teach him not to call us fascists!"

The scene is a squarish meme caricature of an office setting with a very surprised secretary wearing big glasses (and eyes) in a black dress sitting behind her brown office desk at the "OFFICE OF THE GOVERNOR".

Standing in front of her desk are a troupe of heavily armed masked and helmeted armor-plated men with red "T" armbands (meaning "Terrorist") and "ICE" labels on the back of their bulletproof vests.

The ICE terrorist in front is holding out a sheet of paper, showing it to the secretary, as he says this:

Editorial cartoon "Gilded Ballroom" © 2025 by Matt Wuerker, 2012 Pulitzer Prize Winner for Editorial Cartooning, as follows:

A square meme of a mostly light purple color.

There are many buildings in the meme, almost all light purple and all being demolished, all except the building in the middle, which is yellow gold and appears to be under construction as there is a crane moving materials, and an american flag flying high, and it has a sign in front: "COMING SOON: TRUMP'S GILDED BALLROOM".

The other buildings in the meme are each in various stages of destruction as wrecking balls are destroying them: they are labeled, in no particular order, as follows:

"IRS" / "LABOR" / "EDUCATION" / "DEPARTMENT OF STATE" / "HHS" / "EPA" / "INSTITUTE FOR PEACE" / "CPB" / "USAID" / "TREASURY"

Editorial cartoon © 2025 by Walt Handelsman, two-time winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Editorial Cartooning as follows:

The square-ish meme is divided into two halves, a left and a right.

Each half shows the same gray building with white windows.

THEN... (on the left side of meme)
The building on the left side has a caption on top "EPA". The scene is clean and peaceful with blue skies and green grass.

AND NOW (on the right side of meme):
The building on the right side has a caption on top "EPA" that has been turned upside down or on its side with "E" and "A" becoming smokestacks spewing tons of green smoke into the atmosphere while the "P" has become a pile discharging tons of green sludge onto the land and into the waters. The entire scene an eerie green shade and is sickly and pathetic.

2025: IT'S THE LAW NOW! IN TEXAS EVERY CLASSROOM MUST DISPLAY THE TEN COMMANDMENTS!

Editorial cartoon © 2023 by Nick Anderson, 2005 Pulitzer Prize Winner for Editorial Cartooning as follows:

There are two figures in the image, a man and a little boy.

Standing on a ladder wearing a grey suit and a cowboy hat marked "TX" is a caricature of a legislator from Texas. He is smiling a big goofy grin with big teeth and big eyes as he shoves a large stone tablet down the throat of the little boy standing below him.

The little boy, a schoolchild wearing a backpack, eyes goggling, is gagging on the stone tablet.

The stone tablet is marked "TEN COMMANDMENTS I II III IX V VI VII VIII IX X"

The legislator says to the little boy: "REPEAT AFTER ME: SCHOOLS ARE FOR EDUCATION, NOT INDOCTRINATION!"

Editorial cartoon “Just Following Orders” © 2025 by David Horsey, two-time Pulitzer Prize Winner for Editorial Cartooning, as follows:

A horizontal rectangle with light yellow background overlaid with red shadows of American Nazi Stormtroopers (ICE) in full riot gear and wearing helmets, holding truncheons and rifles, and chasing people through the streets of America and apprehending whomever they wish, all without a warrant. These particular shadows are not wearing masks although most of these "agents" do.

In the upper left-hand corner the caption reads "JUST FOLLOWING ORDERS..."

In the foreground two figures are talking.

The figure on the left is a caricature of an American Nazi Stormtrooper with full riot gear, Nazi helmet and rifle in hand, same general appearance as the red shadows in the background, wearing a red armband on his upper right arm that has a white circle and black letters that says "ICE".

The figure on the right is a caricature of an American Nazi SS Agent with brown SS uniform, wearing the same armband as the other, with short hair on the sides and longer hair on top of his head. He has a red "T' on his lapel. He is wearing glasses and looks like a solid Aryan type. He has a huge smile on his ugly face.

The Stormtrooper guy on the left says to the SS guy on the right:

"DID YOU SEE HOW THE FBI ROUGHED UP AND HANDCUFFED A U.S. SENATOR?!"

The SS guy replies: "IF WE'D HAD HIM, WE COULD HAVE SENT HIM TO A PRISON IN EL SALVADOR!"
