Exploring Iteration and Peer-Feedback as a Purpose in Science Practical Activities Students engaged in a Science Practical Activity Challenge: When teaching Science, there is often a tension between the need to develop students understanding core Science concepts and the aspiration motivate them to appreciate the purposes and processes of scientific inquiry skills of this collaborative human endeavour. This can lead to a tension between explicit teaching of Science 'content' and experiential learning through 'laboratory' practical activities.

Book Review: “Difference Maker: Enacting Systems Theory in Biology Teaching” by Christian Moore-Anderson Challenge: Often, in education, there is a tension between teacher-led instruction and student-led exploration. There is at times a desire to comprehensively cover conceptual details from across the curriculum by presenting well established facts, theories and processes, on the one hand, while also accepting that learners have their own desires, interests, and established ways of knowing and being. These challenges are made all the more profound when it seems that learners are not so obviously connected to the aspirations or concrete circumstances that generated the knowledge systems that teachers are wishing to communicate.
