Based on the hard work of Adam, K6ARK I designed a PCB which does all the work of the connections and designed a case for it.
I think it looks like a Turret from the game Portal, hence its name.

After 32 years as a ham I finally completed my first #pota activation!
Thanks for everyone who hunted me at Kielder Water (GB-1285).
Gear was my trusty #elecraft #kx2 with wire antenna suspended on a SOTABeams tactical mast. Ran off battery and happily chucked out 10w.

Had a great performance by the Elecraft AX1 vertical QRP antenna once I elevated one of my three radial wires.
Here's a great overview of the difference between a counterpoise and a radial.

Spent a couple of hours today in #anguilla trying out my #elecraft kx3 #hamradio.
Was difficult to get a low SWR on the AX1, but my efhw Etsy antenna tuned right up to 1.1 at 20m.
Was able to hear a lot from the mainland, but still couldn't connect since I'm QRP. Will try again later this week.
