The chicken body is primarily shades of red, orange, and gold in gradients with a stripe of teal across the join of the tail feathers and the body. The yarn is Sirdar Jewelspun in Sunstone Amber and Into the Whirled Dresden DK in Twilight.
Rook has been sick today so while doing WFH I've been using the emotional support chicken pattern for it's listed purpose vs. my anxiety. It has been very effective for progress.

A knitted, but unstuffed toy chicken lies flat against a natural coloured fabric bag with partial parts of red writing printed on it. The bag is hand-sewn and oddly-shaped sort of like a boat, with one flattish end, and one pointed end. The bag is filled with rice. The chicken is mostly shades of deep red colours, has a brown tail that goes from deep brown to lighter brown at the top, a deep green stripe around its body on front of the tail, as well as around its neck. The green stripe around its neck has a dark brown stripe either side of it. It has a yellow beak, a red comb, and and red plastic eyes.
An almost finished #EmotionalSupportChicken for a friend, with a custom made bag from scrap fabric that matches the body shape, which holds 2kg of rice to make it into a door stop. I’ll post pics once the rest of the stuffing is done, wattle is on, and it’s sewn up.
