Hanoch posts: For me, this ends here. My 17 year old son is in the sorting process for IDF enlistment. This morning I entered the draft website w/him and wrote them: "I ******, father & guardian to minor ****** who is a candidate for enlistment, hereby inform you together with him that I hereby rescind his candidacy for military service, and that my son will not serve in the IDF on the grounds that we do not put our faith the current Israeli administration & its responsibility for his wellbeing, in light of its whorish and derelict conduct, both during this current war and with regards to the Hostages in Gaza, and in addition do not put wholehearted faith in its high command or leader. Therefore and in light of his minor age, I ask that you contact me alone with regards to this matter and that you not trouble him in any way. We, he & I, accept any sanction or penalty applied to us as result of this decision, including all punishments deemed applicable by law. His health and his life are not and will not be forfeit for messianic whims or for the preservation of the regime of an unbridled arch-criminal. Regards. Reccomending and hoping many other parents follow suit.
