I need to rewatch #TheGuest, as I completely forgot what it's about now. Watched this when I'm not even a #kdrama fan yet.
My entry for this are #Revenant and #Exhuma. Both omitted cheap jump scares in favour of deeper character-based terrors and leaned hard on Korean shamanism culture.

I like horror that means something. I want structure beneath the chaos, something that unnerves you because it feels inevitable, not random. This was why #Exhuma hit me really well.
It followed it owns mythological rule and once it's set, everything spiraled inward toward that dreadful conclusion
