Three years ago, I shared a rough demo of this song during #FAWM and someone kindly suggested it could be from a musical. Back then, I wasn't overly familiar with the genre but I've since been on a voyage of discovery and now I'm hooked.
Week 3: Mixed Emotions
Combine contrasting emotional cues, such as a fast tempo in a minor key, dark lyrics set to upbeat music, etc.
Ex: “Boogie Chillun” (John Lee Hooker), “Twisting” (They Might Be Giants), “Walking on Broken Glass” (Eurythmics).
