New Hampshire, which held the first-in-the-nation primary election for roughly a century, argued that it remained uniquely suited for the role despite its lack of racial diversity. “New Hampshire should go first not simply because of tradition,” state Democrats wrote. “There is no other state that better meets the efficiency, rigorousness, and fairness criteria needed in our presidential nominating process.” The state party also wrote that the state is cheap, accessible and small, served by a single television station that reaches nearly all voters, and that candidates there must test their mettle with retail campaigning.
Glad to see New Hampshire making a substantive case for #FITN rather than "well, we passed a state law saying that our state gets to go first"

Both parties had highly contested races! And I just happened to be going to high school in the capital of the state with the #FITN primary! Meaning I got to meet all sorts of people I might not have otherwise! All because Dick Cheney happened to be particularly evil and rizzless!

To be clear, when I say, "Hopefully she spends more time visiting New Hampshire this time around," I am speaking solely from my interest in having NH's #FITN primary be hotly contested, thus bringing economic activity to my state. I have no opinion who should actually get the nom at this point.
