Last performance test showed it takes ~22ms for blitting but that was the action of `adaptive screen refresh` where I marked dirty rects and update them. It rises up to ~78ms if I refresh whole screen.

After one week of hard work, I'm tired to have headaches on 32-bit selectors / descriptors, access rights and gave up using Borland's tools. Just started working with NASM & DJGPP in order to use DPMI. I can just hope performance will be good enough(!) 😩
