MEA advises foreign nationals in India to contact FRRO for visa help amid West Asia crisis New Delhi, March 1 (SocialNews.XYZ) The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Sunday issued an advisory for foreign nationals in India, asking those affected by disrupted travel plans due to the ongoing developments in the West Asia region to contact the nearest Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) for visa extension or regularisation. The advisory said: “All foreign nationals in India, who have had to change their travel plans due to the ongoing developments in the West Asia region and need assistance with extension of their visa or to regularize their stay, are requested to contact the nearest Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO).

Beim #FRRO war ich auch nochmal und ja, ein Touristenvisum ist weder verlänger- noch veränderbar. Es gilt das was draufsteht. Also erhielt ich in #Deutschland eine Fehlinformation. #olliinindien #india #delhi

Es könnte so einfach sein, dieses 180-Tage-Visum für #Indien einmalig für den gleichen Zeitraum zu verlängern. Aufkleber rein, verlängert um 180 Tage, Stempel drauf, 100 Euro zahlen und dann have a nice journey. Ich weiß nicht, worin die #FRRO ein Problem sieht. #olliinindien #india

Ich werde Mitte Januar einen außerplanmäßen Abstecher nach #Nepal machen, um mir dort ein neues Visum für #Indien zu besorgen. Laut Mitarbeiter vom #FRRO kann mein Visa gar nicht verlängert werden. Dann mache ich aus der Not eine Tugend. #olliinindien #india #mumbai #maharashtra
