Born into the largest Cornerian aristocrat families, Fay lived a fairly leisurely childhood, even during the Lylat Wars. However, her exposure to such influenced her to become a soldier. So, she took it upon herself to enroll in the Corneria Flight Academy and later the army itself as an aircraft fighter.
Being an optimist with ideas above her station, she was determined to take the most dangerous opportunities and became an explosive ordnance disposal technician, and excelled in defusing and disposing any kind of threat imaginable. The Spaniels are proud of her, but still worry for her safety.
At the Academy, Fay befriended and later dated the reserved Miyu Swiftlynx, a fellow classmate specializing in scouting. Despite their differences in specializations, their peers and superiors described them as “inseparable.”
- Fay would go on to be one of the most successful and dependable Cornerian soldiers in the post-Lylat Wars era. When interviewed, her squadron commander Bill Grey would state: “Not even the most complexly built explosives stand a chance against her! She can defuse it without even cracking a sweat!”
