ちょっと前からWeb版に適用されてた「マイフィードから見たフィードにAboutが強制表示される」仕様がスマホアプリにも登場してた。この部分はスクロールできないので、少し縦に短くする必要がありそう

iPhoneでのマイフィード画面

マイフィード画面では各サーバーに/.well-known/did.jsonをリクエストして応答があったものを表示している模様(nginxのログより判断)なんだが、ここでもXServerは反応が鈍い。数十秒かかることも結構ある。

数日悩まされている、フィードがオフライン扱いされる問題、新たにconoha vpsを借りて「空と雲」「Palworld/img」の2つを移行させてみたら、今の所快調に動いてる。xserver vpsのレスポンスの悪さが原因だったのかなー

色々対策してみたが、やっぱりオフライン表示が出てしまうな。これが出た時はnginxのアクセスログにも書き込みがないので、リクエストが到達してない。リクエストが来ないのではFG側では打つ手がないな…

先日のマルチプロセス化後もタイムアウトが出てたので、更に対策を進めてみた。

・「/.well-known/did.json」はfeedgen標準だとsrc/well-known.tsの処理で返すのだが、それをやめて直接Webサーバー(nginx)にファイルを返させる。
・今まではts-nodeでsrc/index.tsを実行していたが、tscでコンパイル(yarn build)してコンパイル済のdist/index.jsを実行する。

これでかなり反応が良くなった。平日昼とかに見たらどうなるかな。

Firehose購読とリクエスト受付をclusterモジュールで別プロセスに分けたら反応が良くなった気がする。

feed-generatorは自分で負荷をコントロールできない処理が2つある。
1. firehoseから取得した投稿を選別してDBに格納する
2.Bluesky側からのリクエストに対してURI一覧を返す
問題なのは1で、Blueskyの利用者が増え、総投稿数が多くなればなるほど負荷が上がってしまう。
やって来る投稿のうち、99%以上は自分のフィードと無関係なわけだから、そこの仕分けにエネルギーを使うのはかなり無駄な気がしている。
