In Game 5 we saw a brief return of the uncertainty that has plagued Ding over the past 18 months. The move 27…Bc6 tossed away any advantage that he had. A shame because he had worked a small but tangible positional advantage in an Exchange French. Precise play by Gukesh shared the point. #FIDEchess
As game 3 is on, some may start to wonder if Ding brought a sufficient stash of rice this time. 🙂
