#FinishedReading ‘What does it feel like?’ by Sophie Kinsella.
I should read more novellas. I think if I wrote a book it would be a novella.
I’ve never read any of Sophie Kinsella’s books. I found this one funny, thoughtful, and honest (although fiction she refers to it as inspired by her life).

I’ve previously read Obama’s post-presidency book, Michelle Obama’s “Becoming”, Hilary Clinton’s book about losing to Trump, and Nick Clegg’s book about the UK coalition government. This is by far the most engaging and accessible read IMHO.

#FinishedReading: What Kind of Woman x Kate Baer (thank you @udontsei.bsky.social for the suggestion ✨✨)
I do like how the book was structured in 3 parts but her poetry is very deeply rooted in the "wife and mother" archetype and that's def not my lane 😝
Overall, a good read to get into poetry!

#FinishedReading ‘Go ahead, Secret Seven’ by Enid Blyton.
Another mystery solved including an unusual occurrence with Scamper the dog being temporarily the seventh member of the Secret Seven.
Book cover for With a Vengeance by Riley Sager, both written in big, light teal-blue font. The cover features a train billowing smoke while passing over a bridge at night time.
Digital book cover for Run by Blake Crouch, the author’s name written in white font at the top and the title in a bigger, bold red font. The cover features a completely black background with a spotlight being shone behind the title of the book by the headlights of an oncoming car; the car approaches from the back of a winding road that leads to the front of the cover.
Book cover for Middle of the Night by Riley Sager, the title and author taking up 98% of the cover in a neon green font. The background features a painting by artist Alberto Ortega, named Relocation. The part of the painting depicted in the book cover is a pair of greenish-yellowish two story houses, with one having a blue car parked in front of one of the double garage doors, and the visible corner of the house next to it has a blue car parked in its front. There are trees silhouetted in a dark outline above the houses.
#finishedreading, in the last 2 weeks: Eruption by Crichton and J. Patterson, With a Vengeance by Riley Sager, Run by Blake Crouch, and just today, finished Middle of the Night by Sager. Kind of obsessed with all of Sager’s red herrings and how he leads you astray only to surprise you with twists.
