I've had these fish for awhile, but they've never been very active. Someone on Reddit said they need a bigger tank, but the ppl at PetSmart say this is literally how they live in the wild?? idk... I added an air stone like someone suggested, but I don't think it helped. :/ pls advise.

I made a silly β
I saw what I thought was an eaten carcass of one of my new crayfish.
It was a molt. She's fine.

Male Betta fish swims in front of plants in a small aquarium. He's got a black face, body is blue, fins are red and blue.
Got this pretty boy last weekend. He still doesn't have a name. I can't settle on one. He's a bit of an explorer, notices everything, learns fast. He's mostly red & blue but has turquoise highlights.

Completely rebuilt the pea puffer tank from the substrate up. Any trumpet snails that have managed to survive in there have been evacuated to the live bearer tank, this way if the planaria come back I'll have no compunctions about chemical warfare.
