After 6 years, I've finally managed to clear off my #FollowBacklog! I'd like to thank Elon for driving enough people off this platform, & revealing which remaining 1s are losers enough to pay for verification, that I was finally able to get back down below the #FollowLimit again!

Hm, it looks like @TwitterBlue has a new icon... I'm not subscribing until they include an increased #FollowLimit and an increased #MutedWordsLimit as perks, though (of course, I'd prefer it if they just made those changes for everyone, but I doubt that'll happen...)

I wish I could be as cavalier about losing followers as some of the rest of you, but unfortunately, I just can't. Being at the #FollowLimit means that having followers does actually matter for how soon I'm going to be able to follow people again.

Why didn't I go & follow them, too, while unmuting them?! I mean, yeah, I was already at the #FollowLimit at that point, but I've cleared off enuf of my #FollowBacklog since then that there shouldn't be anyone from July left on it… Oh well, NOW they're on the backlog at least…

I finally got thru my #FollowBacklog again, at least temporarily! The number of accounts I have had to unfollow to make room for others due to the #FollowLimit has grown to 379: https://x.com/cooljeanius/lists/unfollowed
In replies to this tweet I will tag people who seem to be following and unfollowing me in an attempt to get me to follow them. My tagging of them is in the hopes that they'll see the part about me being at the #FollowLimit & have some patience while waiting for me to follow back.
