Wausau council approves temporary parking fee suspension during Foundry project construction Damakant Jayshi The Wausau City Council on Tuesday approved suspending hourly parking fees and offering refunds to permanent parking pass holders in Ramp 3 (JC Penney ramp) during construction tied to the Foundry on 3rd development project. The changes will be in effect from mid-April through the first week of July. The request to waive hourly parking fees came from the Wausau River District, which warned that reconstruction of some downtown streets would significantly impact nearby businesses by limiting vehicle access and available parking.
