Ich teste gerade Apps für Stift-Touchscreen-Laptops wie dem #Framework12 . Welche Linux Apps für die Stiftbedienung könnt ihr empfehlen? Gibt es außer Xournal+-, Stylus Labs Write, Rnote, etc. noch etwas, was ich übersehen habe?

So I've now had some hands on time with my new Framework 12 and I think its time for a Write up on my thoughts thus far!

My Framework 12 has Arrived!
As decided by the Poll, it's a Lovely Lavender Colour!
Going to be setting it and Kubuntu up over the next few days and see what its Capable of!
But I can already tell by a few small tests, this thing is a Beast!

Soooooo after trying a bunch of #Linux Distros, I settlet on #Kubuntu.
I've been trying for the past 3 Days to get a Duel Boot Setup working on a Single SSD with no Luck. Something about the Bootloader not working.
Guess I gotta scrap switching to Linux until I get my #Framework12... ah well...

Components of the DIY kit to "build" the framework 12 notebook (closed main body, keyboard, power adapter, RAM, SSD, expansion cards, and a screwdriver matching the color of the computer.
My #framework12 notebook arrived early 😁 (charge 11, planned to be "shipped in October"). Looks like something to do for the weekend. And to learn, this will be my first #linux device to work on.

I can't help but wonder how one would go about Upgrading a #Framework12 CPU years down the Line.
The CPU itself is not swappable ofcourse, but I do wonder if you could just replace the main board with a new one without any issues? All assuming years in the future with new tech ofcourse.

I really wanna buy a #Framework Laptop as my ol 2014 Asus is starting to be quite unreliable... but its just not in my budget to get a #Framework16 hfhgbgng.gngn.........
I could maybe go for a Tiny #Framework12 for now, but I definetly want something slightly gaming capable. Thoughs?

If you got a #fw12 #framework12 and an "cpu fan not connected" on boot, it could be a known issue with the "max battery" boot power setting. Ignore or switch to one of the two different levels.
#framework said they gonna fix it in a coming update.

A picture of my green framework 12 laptop open on my desk. It has a grey keyboard cover. In the backdrop my desktop monitor displays a green screensaver. My desk has assorted niknaks around, including a Yubikeys and a Stream Deck. I've scribbled over an open notebook with green using the pen tool.
I'm going all in on green with this thing.
I hope they do a green keyboard some day.
