Sitting on a DC Metrobus, #8090, satisfied that I got away without paying. Of course, after 5 pm today, July 4th, all Metro and Metrobus rides are free for everyone!

Today I boldly walked on every DC Metrobus and RideOn bus, smiling at the bus driver as I walked by w/o paying.

After 5pm, I slid thru all the #DCMetro turnstiles without nary a tap of a Smartrip Card! #FreeRides are nice w/ good service. Also these new turnstiles are narrower than the old ones!
