India’s ageing truck fleet could escalate freight spends by 2–8% India's M&HCV fleet has significantly expanded from 2 million vehicles in FY 2005 to 5.4 million currently. However, the rate of replacement hasn't kept pace with new acquisitions.

Turns out, India's big trucks are getting pretty old! The average age is now ten years, the highest it's been in two decades.
