Exclusion transect, where we manipulate the presence/absence of algal species, on a rocky shore.
Together with @bschrobru.bsky.social I do a field experiment in which we look at how different species of macroalgae can compensate for the loss of other species in the marine intertidal. Algal species have potentially relatively narrow niches in this system.
