It's because we had to buy all of our favorite music on tape first, and then we had to buy it all over again on CDs, and then we had to buy it all over again to load our mp3 players, and now everyone just gets access to everything ever recorded for like basically nothing, and that's GREAT but now I have to make small talk with people I've just met instead of just handing them my binder of car CDs like 'here is my whole personality.'

If you have never had a binder of ripped car CDs are you even a fully developed person? I mean, how do you function? Playlists are so banal.
