I think it’s a little harsh on the show, to be axed.
Granted the concept was difficult to understand when it first started, but then to reducing to 1 episode each week was disappointing to those of us who was invested in the show.

About the time I realised I didn't understand the second game at all and therefore wasn't really entertained was around the same time I realised the amount of run time left meant they weren't playing a third game so the writing was on the wall re. the winner. But a deserved winner! #GeniusGame

It's a programme of social and intellectual smarts, with a unique style. Those of us who got it, loved it.

So that's the end of #GeniusGame UK! Well I can say it got markedly better as the series progressed. The finalists certainly earned their spots. Despite my qualms about some early eliminations, I do hope the show is given another chance with more assertive strategies and stronger garnets.

It was obvious they weren’t doing all 3 games early on as they dragged out the first games instructions.
They eliminated 3 contestants last week… would have been better to have 4 in the final and eliminate one person per game.

For a show called #GeniusGame it it is ridiculously stupid. Just watched the final and it was so boring.
All those tokens they collected all series barely meant anything, but having the final episode just be a best of 3 death matches is one of the most illogical production decisions ever!

I know I've complained about #GeniusGame a bit, but has anyone complained at much as those who podcasted about it? And catty remarks about the contestants. Of course we all want it to be as strong as the original, no shit, but an hour of grumbling, what's the fakkin point in that.
