**The Coalition for Collaborative Governance** is a group of actively engaged residents advocating for improvements in the cultures, policies, and practices of the governmental entities serving Lawrence, Kansas. **FLIP Kansas.** Is a communication hub for progressives both inside and outside of Kansas. We are coming together to brainstorm and learn, to coordinate and act in ways that will help support progressive candidates – and eventually get out the vote for them. We are not party-affiliated. **The Haskell Foundation** in **Lawrence** , Kansas, has an Emergency Relief Fund that offers immediate financial assistance to Native American students facing unexpected hardships, ensuring they can continue their education without disruption. https://www.haskellfoundation.org/
**“Heartland Town Hall: Connecting in the Heart of America.”** The heart of a town hall is those who are speaking, sharing their ideas, concerns, and their dreams for our nation. We are creating a town hall in a podcast format to speak with those that really matter, the citizens of our nation. Heartland Town Hall will have 4 speakers and last about 30 minutes. Now accepting submissions from people who wish to speak for 2-3 minutes. We would love a wide range of submissions, including geography, age, background, ethnicity, etc. Each episode will feature an opportunity to dialogue with each other. Those who submit comments that do not make it into the podcast will also be featured in the Heartland Town Hall Facebook group. **The Homeless Resource Center** , works to ensure that those facing homelessness in Douglas County have access to basic human dignity — meals, showers, mail services, and a safe space to rest. Additionally, we are committed to creating a mutual space for the community as a whole to come together in equity and growth. **The Little Prairie Donation Garden** in **Lawrence,** Kansas, hosts community volunteer days on Wednesdays from 6-8 pm and Saturdays from 11 am – 2 pm through the growing season. The Little Prairie Donation Garden and Orchard are volunteer-based Common Ground and Giving Grove sites that produce fruits and vegetables to be donated back into our local food system through free community meals and local food pantries. The threats to various government agencies and not-for-profit entities that support the economically marginalized among us, coupled with the inevitability of rising prices due to tariffs, point to a growing likelihood of food and housing insecurity in our community. **Citizen’s Impeachment** – Our Article of Impeachment on Tyranny can be found here. Our initial project, Operation Anti-King made national press and led to multiple members of Congress publicly supporting impeachment within 48 hours.
