Google Fiber did the same thing, but usually selectively, as if it were a lottery. Verizon Fios made big general promises to everyone. Both were a bad example of how to be a Fiber Optic company.

I had to manually set the WAN port on my UniFi Cloud Gateway Ultra (UCG Ultra) to 1 Gpbs FDX instead of auto-negotiate in order to get full speed with 1 Gig Google Fiber. Otherwise download speed was only about 700 Mbps. #unifi #googlefiber
