Picture of the dunes showing the sandsled track I left on the side of a dune and the upper half of another visitor off in the distance to provide perspective of the sheer size of the dunes, which can be up to 750 feet (230 m) tall.
Collage of pictures of various animal tracks we found hiking the dunes at Great Sand Dunes National Park.
After hiking and sledding all day, we a found a bedbug in our bed in our hotel in Alamosa, CO. We packed up to immediately leave. The manager would not refund us for the night that we wouldn’t be there so I told him that I would let the other guests know what I had found. He said it would be libel because my wife and I may have brought the critter in with us. So, I just told other guests that we found it in the bed but we don’t know how it got there. No lies, no libel.
Great Sand Dunes National Park, September2021. Walking up the #dunes was the most physically challenging #hike I’ve ever done. #Sledding back down was a blast. There also were a lot of animal tracks in the dunes. Bedbug story in animal tracks pic alt-text.
