Over half of ultra-processed foods #UPFs consumed in the UK were also foods high in fat, salt, and sugar #HFSS — either measured by food type or amount of calories —, according to a study published in the @bmj.com. This highlights the need to extend HFSS legislation to cover UPFs, too.

NOVA makes sense to cooks & chefs because freshly prepared meals are NOVA G123 ingredients #RealFood. Most American RDNs and food manufacturers reject NOVA. Why? Cooking is not convenient.
