Two demonic dog-faced statues face one another in symmetry, with blue streams of water pouring from their mouths — a third stream pours directly from a valley river seen on the horizon. All 3 streams collect into a centerpiece giant skull, which appears to be “filtering” the remains of flesh, bones, organs and blood, presumably from carcasses of both humans and animals that flowed downstream from the aforementioned river, and spewing those remnants into a subterranean chamber hall. Where the river runs red.
This is a close up of what appears to be human and animal remains collecting in an underground reservoir — this aspect of the overall artwork is its most colorful, where Seagrave catches the eye with fluorescent reds & oranges amongst all the black & blue. The attention to detail is exquisite: skulls, blood, guts, and various skeletal remains.
