Let’s see if this is a bad idea. Upgrading my old Skylake #Hackintosh from Sonoma to Sequoia. macOS dropped support for this hardware several years ago and I’ve had to change the SMBIOS multiple times just to keep updating. It is getting a bit too far out of spec.

I'm trying to install #macos High Sierra on a MacMini5,2, the one w/ a Radeon GPU - GPU is faulty (common w/ the 5,2). I can get it to boot by removing AMD kexts from BaseSystem.dmg, but the installer fails bc it can't verify the image. Any hints/tips? Will try renaming the kexts. #hackintosh

i threw it at four different systems to see how it would react and it seemed to spit out working EFIs for all of them. you'll have to get the base .dmg copy of macos on your own (use macrecovery in opencore folder) but it even does serialgen for you

this is awful for apple. right on! #hackintosh
