#HauntedHarrow Anmer Lodge nursing home, #Stanmore, c. Nov. 1986/ Jan. 87. Peppi the cat burst into flame & exploded before horrified residents. The authorities, fearing a mass outbreak of #spontaneous_feline/OAP_combustion, promptly shut the place down & sold site to developers. It’s now an M&S.
