☆ Uses of Losartan:
● Treatment of Hypertension (high blood pressure)
● Prevention of heart attack and stroke

☆ How Losartan Works:
● Belongs to a class of drugs called angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs)
● Blocks the action of a chemical that causes blood vessels to tighten
● Relaxes blood vessels, lowering blood pressure
● Improves blood flow to organs and reduces the workload on the heart
☆ Common Side Effects:
● Dizziness
● Back pain
● Upper respiratory tract infection
● Nasal congestion (stuffy nose)
● Cough

● Take it at the same time every day to help you remember to take it.
● It can make you feel dizzy for the first few days. Rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down for a long time.
