The Extreme Heat Warning which was originally predicted to end here on Thursday 20:00, is now predicted to end Wednesday (today) 17:00.
The portable A/C brought the temp down to 72°F in the dining room overnight. And, we are still expecting the HVAC tech Friday from 12:00 to 16:00.

Don’t know the dining room temp. A desk lamp/clock reports 80.0°F. Alexa reports the temp on an Echo as a few degrees cooler. Siri reports the temp of a HomePod mini as being 67°F, with the nearby air conditioner being 75°F.
Whatever it is, it’s nice!

The portable air conditioner has been running for hours. it's cooler. Tolerable. But, it's not big enough to cool the entire house down to 72 degrees. We knew that going in. It's a big improvement, though.
