A small, boxy truck painted pale yellow with navy blue trim has a sliding side door and a back door that opens. There are photos of pastries on the outside of the truck plus the familiar logo and name "Helms Bakeries." The trucks drove through neighborhoods in Los Angeles with a familiar horn. You could walk out of your house to the street and buy fresh donuts, bread and pastries. Heavenly, but bad for the waistline!
