Two sketches of my Bilbo Baggins design. They are practically the same, but the tufts of hair in the front of the Bilbo on the left stick out more than the one on the Bilbo on the right. The Bilbo on the left also has a more neutral expression while the one on the right is smiling.
I dunno if folks notice, but I noticed that as I kept drawing Bilbo over time, his tufts of hair at the front stuck out more (left).
I’m trying to see if I can smooth them out a bit, and I’m honestly quite fond of it (right).
