well.. last night at 4am.. i migrated my #homeassistant and #homebridge back to windows and hyper-v.. man, my wyze camera was keeping my nas cpu at around 50%. figured my core i5 12th gen cpu should have NO ISSUES w/HA or HB constantly running. migrated over, imported back up. like i never migrated

There's something infinitely funny to me that I have to bounce my Nest devices over to HomeKit using HomeBridge in order to bridge them into Home Assistant because Google is just that awful that I have to use Apple's standard to get their crap working. :corgi_wtf1:

En toen bleek vandaag mijn camera in de aanbouw defect te zijn. Na jaren heeft ook van deze Logitech cam de wifi module het begeven.
Hiervoor de goedkopere #EufyC220 besteld. Nu zijn, op 1 na, alle camera’s in huis van hetzelfde merk.
En via #HomeBridge werken deze prima in #HomeKit.
Fijne aankoop!

My favorite thing I did this weekend was use Homebridge and Eve to build automations that will turn my fun Govee TV backlights on when I start watching TV, pulse them when I pause, and then just be normal lights if the TV isn’t on.

Migrated from a Raspberry Pi 3 to a much faster Pi 5. Love that this low-energy workhorse can easily handle my various home services.
I didn't migrate Pi-Hole history. Ended up with this nice visual of devices transitioning DNS requests from RP3 (top) to RP5 (bottom).

Wat een bak licht geeft zo'n #Hue Signe :-) Soms moet je jezelf verwennen. Ook de kaars en kerst scenes zijn leuk om in te stellen. Zelfs met #homekit via #homebridge in te gebruiken.

It’s only useful if you have an ancient Samsung aircon with the wifi module. I’d really like to get another MIM-H02 module to poke around inside without the risk of borking the one attached to my aircon
I've been playing around with #HomeBridge for a while now. Making my own plugins for it is not too hard but making them nice is the tricky part. Since the devices I want to control are quite old getting them to work with modern versions of node with TLS 1.0 disabled is a pain.

Je kan dus via Custom Input URIs een vlc met externe url aanroepen. Oftewel via Siri een zender starten, moet allen nog wat aan mijn uitspraak oefenen want siri en ik zijn geen vriendjes. Dan maar eerst via homekit scene en een knopje in 1x de juiste zender actieveren. #homebridge #appletv #vlc
