An open kiln at around 1200°F. There are several shapes in the kiln, including: a flame, two leaves, two water drops, some swirls, a rainbow blob, two Erlenmeyer flasks, and a small pile of straight bits. The colors are all very dark compared to the room temperature pieces.

I love the comparison between room temp and hot glass. This is why glassblowers have to do so much planning and testing.

An aqua blue glass vase. The middle, front and back, has been almost completely carved away leaving just the outer ring. The carved away sections have been replaced with grey fused glass webbing.
