SC Dept. of Public Safety says they will be releasing the driver’s name and pending charges he faces tomorrow. Unsure if he will face a judge for a bond hearing in Greenville or Columbia.

New details released after bomb threat situation on I-85 in Greenville County Greenville County deputies announced the driver is in custody and the situation is deemed safe.

SCDPS has just released more info about today’s bomb threat on I-85:

- Driver is a man from Illinois
- Pulled over for missing license plate
- Indicated there was an explosive device
- No explosives found
- Taken into custody without incident
