Ein LDV ICE1! Als ICE 1944 aus Dresden hier vor Ludwigsburg unterwegs. Wegen Bauarbeiten konnte die Schnellfahrstrecke Mannheim - Stuttgart nicht genutzt werden.

On my way to Salzburg with the “old” Railjet - for Vienna & Budapest. The “new” one is heading to Innsbruck and Italy, via the Brenner line.

Seit 1999 ist der @DB_Bahn #ICE1 im Einsatz & kann dank guter Pflege noch heute Millionen Kilometer fahren. Nun macht die DB ihre erste ICE-Flotte für weitere 10 Jahre fit. Die Modernisierung ist teuer — aber sie lohnt sich.
