A daytime photo of a road with forest debris off to each side, and down the center. Most of it is an orange color, but some in the center is green moss. Both sides of the road are bordered by very lush green native ground cover. A small hillside climbs from the right side of the road. Both sides of the road have many small trees with fresh new light green leaves. The sky is not visible, but the tree tops are gently shrouded in mist.

A daytime photo from a walk in a sunny park. The ground on the walking path is off red dirt. Trees dominate the view. The trees are bordered by raised painted white curbs. A foreground tree on the left is a Jacaranda, with it's distinctive royal purple colored trumpet flowers. A little further down the path, and also on the left is another tall tree with very striking brilliant gold colored trumpet flowers. I learned that this is a Guayacan Trumpet Tree! (Tabebuia guayacan) Another tree toward the end of the path has a dense crown of green leaves.

I saw a few of these flowering trees of startling gold. They really command the eye!

The Jacaranda trees were amazing to me as well! I never saw them in person before!
