Google Maps blocks Gulf of America reviews after rename criticism It controversially updated the Gulf's name for US users after President Trump ordered it to be changed.

#Google apparently doesn’t believe in #facts or #FreeSpeech, but it’s still the #GulfOfMexico. I agree with #Mexico, #AssociatedPress, #InternationalHydrographicOrganization ( #IHO ), etc. These are the international standards. It’s the history of many centuries.

The White House says it's a 'fact' that the Gulf of Mexico has been renamed. Is that right? For more than four centuries, the body of water stretching from Florida through Texas and into Mexico has been known as the Gulf of Mexico.

I agree with #Mexico, the #AP & The #InternationalHydrographicOrganization ( #IHO ) that global standards and history designate it as the #GulfOfMexico.

It’s also #Denali mountain & park, as per indigenous history & identify.
